Turbo gauge fitting

Hi guys still looking for answers am i right in thinkinh the turbo actuator relies on turbo pressureto open wastegate is so if i put a t in actuator line could this be used for turbo gauge ( on a tdi scirocco )

I would have thought these days it would be easier to read the value from the existing sensor off the CanBus.

That would work if connected to lap top ect but I'm fitting a gauge ?

You can display it within the DIS along with other parameters if you buy something like Polar FIS.

You could have a look at the set up in a facelift model to see where they have taken it from as it has a boost gauge as standard.

Only way to do it in a tdi

Fit egr delete and use the take off there.
Tap into a boost circuit using a self sealing takeoff from merlin motorsport
Use polar fis.

The actuators are vacuum operated and electronically controlled.

Its irrelevant to the fitting of your boost gauge.

Ive answeree your question. The lines going to the actuator are vacuum lines. I said you need to tap into any BOOST CARRYING line.

Any BOOST carrying pipe.

If you can't figure out what pipe(s) carry boost then take it to a garage.
