Day Lights on
Can someone tell me how to turn the 'day lights' OFF please. It's most annoying.

Have a search thru the forum. There have been loads of discussions about this.

Jim when was the car registered? They are now a legal requirement in the UK for new cars
& have you got halogen or xenon lights?

Don't think you can, as has been said they are a legal requirement for new cars. Mine is an early '09 plate and it is not possible to switch off the headlights (not without VAGCOM anyway).jiml wrote:Can someone tell me how to turn the 'day lights' OFF please. It's most annoying.

Re: Day Lights on
The car was registered May 2010 (10 plate) so it's the newer car than my last one which was a '58 plate. So it seems you can't turn off the lights unless you dabble with the computer.
Oh well it's not the end of the world but it does annoy me.
