Can someone tell me how to turn the 'day lights' OFF please. It's most annoying.

Jim when was the car registered? They are now a legal requirement in the UK for new cars
& have you got halogen or xenon lights?

Don't think you can, as has been said they are a legal requirement for new cars. Mine is an early '09 plate and it is not possible to switch off the headlights (not without VAGCOM anyway).

The car was registered May 2010 (10 plate) so it's the newer car than my last one which was a '58 plate. So it seems you can't turn off the lights unless you dabble with the computer.
Oh well it's not the end of the world but it does annoy me.
