Don't know how much the bits are but I am sure andy-gti could get you the part #. As for fitting by VW.

Cheers iroc, I missed your reply!

Hi JayR,

I have ordered a viper green one, did so after seeing the IROC concept shots, however these do tend to be filtered, so it may not look quite as good, i get it 12th Dec, dont know how soon you need to order, so dont know if thats any help.

My order:

Viper Green, Merlin Cloth, Dynaudio, Flat Tyre Indicator.

Although you say the leather is pricey, the xenons, electric seat and DAB are not far off the same price. So, how often do you drive on unlit B-roads, need to adjust the seat or get DAB radio stations?

Besides which you can't order Xenons at the moment and VW have taken them off the web site configurator.
:iagree:

Totally agree with Kev on the extras. As for the colour, I think if you want to get noticed then green is the way to go but personally I like cool and understated. White with tan leather is very cool in my opinion.
iroc wrote: Winter Pack Gives you Heated Mirror's,Heated washer Jets,Headlamp Wash. Heated seats come with the Leather.
I don't have the Winter Pack and my mirrors are heated. I also have leather so have heated seats. My point is I don't think the Winter Pack is very good value if all it includes is heated washer jets and headlamp wash. I appreciate those from Scotland may have a different view.

Hi guys - the answer to my thread subject is.....Not!

ive taken the plunge today and placed the order for the scirocco

spec ive chosen is:
candy white
truffle leather
dynaudio
folding mirrors
dab
exterior badge deletion
storage compartment
multimedia socket

the green just seemed too, well green in the end!
i like the contast of the black plastic against the white paint an all.

the only thing i wasnt sure about, and decided against in the end was the pano roof.

cheers for all your comments - ill keep ya updated as to the arrival time etc etc!

Hi JayR

Congrats on placing the order, I'm jealous!

What do you mean by the option 'storage compartment'?

Thanks

If you spec the panaroof you lose the storage space in the roof for shades and ....celery.
I'm guessing he means he's got that back.

JayR
Congratulation on placing the order JayR!
It's the contrast of the white and black that would make the black leather look better in the white car, but that's just me I guess...
I’m curious as to the badge deletion though...
Why??? I could understand if you bought a basic 1.4 and didn't want people thinking you have the cheaper model, same as some people ordering a BMW 318 and wanting people to think they might be driving a 330, but what's the point with the Roco?

cheers dude!

em, badge deletion - i just didnt like the look of it? might sound a bit weird but i just prefered the boot area without the badging - the tfsi bit especially i wasnt very keen on.

ha - it ll keep the yokels round my way guessin an all!

this black / truffle thing is hard tho - no clear winner but for me i reckon the tan interior will be quite cool with the white paint.....again - just personal taste! 8)
