Re: Rear Wiper and Front washer jets - Not Working
Could it be the stalk? Cause you obviously pull forward for front jets, push back for rear wiper. Seems to be ironic that movement is responsible for both the issues I have?

Rear Wiper and Front washer jets - Not Working
Hello, Ive developed a bizarre problem on my 2012 Scirocco Bluemotion. My front washer jets and rear wiper doesnt work. There is no noise or anything to suggest the motor is working. Re: Headlight Removal - Bumper off?
Thanks for the reply. I looked at the brand new light and saw there was no bolts covered by the bumper ans have it a shot. Job done in about half hour. Is argue it was easier than changing a bulb! Ha

Headlight Removal - Bumper off?
Just a quick one, do you need to remove the front bumper to change a front headlight? Ive had a mishap, and the worst of the damage is the headlight so ive got a brand new one. The bumper is scuffed but that can wait till after Xmas if I can change the head light without taking the bumper off. Thanks

Re: Headlight bulb gone....only it hasn't....
Right, Go to my Mrs Dads Garage early, we put the right holder in the left light, and the left holder in the right light. Both lights worked and no error on dash board
went for the MOT and I can happily report it passed with no advisories
Weird hey?

Re: Headlight bulb gone....only it hasn't....
Thanks for the reply. If it was something like the controller as you suggest wouldnt more than one light be out? Its only my right dipped beam that the issue is with.
Ive also disconected the battery for half hour to no avail

Headlight bulb gone....only it hasn't....
Hello all, Strange one here, and one that come up the day before the MOT.... I have a 2012 Scirocco Bluemotion 2.0 TDI 140. My drivers dipped bulb went and gave the warning light on the dash. No problem. I removed the bulb and it had blown so replaced it with a brand new one. Put the new bulb back i...

Car cuts out then restarts instantly @ low revs.
Hi, first of all let me give a little back ground. I have a 2012 Scirocco Blue motion 2.0 TDI 140 model. The car has done 65,000 miles. I bought the car on 45,000 miles. I have the oil/oil filter/air filter/Pollen filter changed every 10,000 miles regardless of the time scale. The last time I had th...

Booked in with a specialist using genuine VW parts for £145 inc labour and Vat.
£175 if I want the Brake Fluid doing, but think Ill need discs and pads soon so Ill do all that then.

Re: Long Life Service differences.....
Waiting on a price from an independant. They've worked on my cars before, and did the warranty work for when my Dual Mass Flywheel went. They recomended the same, putting long life oil in it this time round, carrying out the rest of the service and then Ill get it serviced every 10k or so. Why is th...

Re: Long Life Service differences.....
Personally, I stick to Longlife Oil but keep the car on fixed intervals. In addition to the mileage limits for each regime there are time limits too, 12 months max for fixed and 24 months for longlife regime. Brake fluid is 3 years and then every 2 years. Thanks, so If I go with genuine Air Filter ...

Re: Long Life Service differences.....
I'm just going off the sticker in my door that says long life service plan, and the prompt on the MFD, which said "next service in 11k" When I bought it, and now says "Next service in 1900miles". I guess my question is, why is the long life service £299 and the 12 month one £149?...

Long Life Service differences.....
Hi, Ive booked my car in for a service @ VW Main Dealer. Mines on the long service plan so requires the £279 major service. My mate then said, "why are you going to a main dealer for a service, your car is out of warranty, just go to a specialist...." The car is a 2012 2.0 TDI Bluemotion 1...

Did your light go off and car was fine after? I've done 470 miles since with zero issue or return of the light?
