Hi,
Been in to inspect our car today ready for collection on Tuesday. All seems to be good, however the bonnet is slightly proud of both wings by an equal amount! Is this normal or can the wings be adjusted to make up for the mis-allignment?
Cheers
Ben

Re: Bonnet fitment.
A good fitting bonnet tends to be slightly over equally both sides. Roughly about 3mm overhang. But this has been a problem with some owners that it is not balanced on both sides or the bonnet is mis-shaped. Without photos, hard to tell but from your description. It is described as about right. It is not a flush joining line and not designed/manufactured to be so.

Re: Bonnet fitment.
mine is out of line as well. realised only a few months down the line.
did not do anything because it might mean the car needs to be away etc etc. in the end i just left it.
i have post it here before about this issue, with pictures. can;t remember where.
its annoying because it not something hidden. if you are a quality inspector at the end of the production line , you definitely can see it with the naked eye.
