Rain

Post by Simon_T »

Just started my first cleaning regime washed the car ect and started to dry it off ready for a good claying exercsie.
Question is should i carry on in the rain or is it not advisable or do i start the whole process allover again on another day.
Cheers for any advice.

Personally speaking I can't see any major problem claying the car in light rain, some clays just use water as lube anyway.

If you can pull the car into the garage to polish/wax it after the claying I'd just carry on. If the car is permanently outside I'd leave the claying till the weather is better when you can do it all in 1 go.

you don't need to dry the car before claying, leaving it wet will aid claying & mean you don't need to use so much clay lube.
I clayed mine in the rain last weekend, as long as you make sure its washed off after you finish and don't let it dry on you should be fine

if you mean the gallery (top right of the page) then there is a button at the top that says 'create/order my album' otherwise just add them to your delivery room topic

I had trouble with the gallery thing as well. Couldn't seem to link any pics from photobucket, gave up in the end. Thought i'd done all the right things but no joy.
