Doth my cap to Event Tyres

Post by medicsource »

Needed both fronts changing URGENTLY after my locking wheel nut disaster. When I got home last night after having the nuts sorted (1830hrs), I got straight in the internet to Event Tyres. Ordered two Michelin Pilot Sport 3s, £176 a piece, and they still had the option of selecting this morning. Thinking this was unlikely, I thought I'd give it a go and be prepared for them not to be able to accommodate!

0930 this morning Danny turned up at my house and change both within 30minutes. Really nice guy.

Great service . Would recommend to anybody.

As for the PS3s. They have had great customer reviews so far. Worth the extra? At least they are a lot cheaper than the same size PS2s the Megane had on them (£230pp). We'll see what they are like.

PS2s are a much better tyre than my std fit Continentals, I'll be going for them when the current ones need replacing.

Most things I have read state that the PS3s improve on the PS2s wet weather handling which should be fun! Never had a problem with the PS2 on the Megane other than their price!
