Phone Prep

Hi guys

Any idea if the phone prep works with the iphone? If anyone has the phone prep does it work well, is it worth the money?

(if I recall correctly) You can't use the IPhone with the factory bluetooth as it does not have rsap which is required (see here for list of phones compatable with vw factory fit bluetooth kithttp://www.sciroccocentral.co.uk/roccop ... ble_Phones)
I believe you can use it with aftermarket bluetooth kits such as Fiscon though (hopefully someone with an IPhone can confirm this..?)

Thanks trix, I did wonder as my iphone does not have blue tooth (not sure about the 3GS though). Deacon suggested Fiscon too so I will have a look into that as well.

It can connect to a bluetooth headset, but not other phones. Not sure how fits in with VW phone prep.

strange..

to connect with the vw factory fit bluetooth it need RSap.

I have ommited it from the order, if I decide to fit it later I will look at the Fiscon option.
