Hi
Im getting my Roc delivered from Leeds in a transporter, I called the dealer today to request that the car is left as it is from the factory and will wash it myself. Has anybody else had it delivered by transporter, if so what did you think?

Re: Transporters
Gavmac89,
I got my car only yesterday via a 65ft, 12 car transporter. Everything was fine on the car (i.e. no damage to the alloy wheels) apart from it being filthy dirty.
The transporter was all in with the price of my car so all I had to do was sit at home and wait for it to arrive. Funny thing was there was no way the delivery driver could get down my close so he to park the massive transporter on the main road with the hazard warning lights on. It was a 3 min drive away too. Funny as I had to give him a lift back to his big truck. He he he
Your right about washing the car yourself. Mine left the dealer in "showroom condition" but I didn't get to see it. That is my only regret.
Hope this helps.
Gary
P.s. By the way when he lashed my car onto the transporter he put the straps around the tyres and NOT through the alloys. Ask them how they plan to attach your motor.

Re: Transporters
Thanks Gary, that makes me feel a bit better now, I will contact the people who will be delivering it and make sure they starp her in nice and safe. No idea what size of transporter it will be but they might struggle delivering mine too as im in a small cul-de-sac.
Thanks again
