I went to use my car window once and heard a horrible noise and the window dropped down. I got a scirocco regulator and motor (oem second hand) from eBay and installed. Turns out the old motor was okay and it was just the cable that snapped, no big deal will can maybe sell the spare one.
The window goes up and down and works faster than other side however.....
The drop that lets the door open out of the frameless window doesn’t work anymore so if I’m in car and put window fully up I can’t get out the car without manually lowering the window a bit. I know how to set the window up and down limits (holding switch at top and bottom) but it doesn’t seem to work on this side ( does on passenger side).
I have plugged it into my friends VCDS and it seems to think the window is at the bottom even when it’s at the top?
Please help it’s really p*ssing me off.
