i'm Alessio from Genoa (Italy), i'm new here
First of all, i would like to thank you for every single topic here, every info about this awesome car is golden
I recently bought my 2015 Scirocco TDI 184PS in Germany and i'm the impatient kind of guy which, stuck in home here due to COVID lockdown, starts to search for something to tinker with
So i decided to retrofit a MIB unit into that baby which, at the moment, has the RNS315 (previous German owner didn't care at all about infotainment, since he took EVERY optional possible except a better unit).
However, i'll go straight to the point: i need to place the USB (CarPlay)- AUX combo inside the armrest, which now houses the MDI with female USB adapter, and (as next upgrade but not in a short while) a composite camera to replace the RGB one.
The question is: where do cables pass?
I ordered the correct AUX-COMBO for this purpose, but i need to know where the cable runs to reach the unit and, therefore, which interior parts and trims i have to remove to reach the correct wire path. Is there any wiring scheme i could find somewhere before?
The same applies to the composite RVC, but i found a german video on YT which explains how to put RVC (Rückfahrkamera) on Golf7...i wonder if cables path's the same on Scirocco (considering the 3 doors instead of 5)...
Here's the RVC i'd like to fit: https://www.carsystems.eu/new-vw-sciroc ... d2131.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
And here's the RVC mounting video i mentioned above: " onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Have a nice day guys (and a nice drive too, if you're not on lockdown like here in Italy
