Hi guys,
as the tile states really I have 2016 Scirocco, I haven't driven it for a few weeks and when going out in it today it seems the windscreen washer jets wouldn't spray, I stopped at a petrol station picked up some screen wash as I thought it must be empty and proceeded to fill up the tank. Once full I then went to put the half full bottle of screen wash in the boot ..... you guessed it, I then realised I could not unlock it on the key fob or the button on the door. So now the only way to open is manually through the back states.
I picked up a new washer motor on my way back just in case it was this and swapped it out as it was a fairly cheap and accessible option to rule out straight away. Same problem, no spray, no noise from the pump, nothing.
I ran VCDS and it came up with 3 faults
00897 Windscreen washer pump (v5)
012 - electrical fault in circuit
00897 Windscreen washer pump (v5)
011 - open circuit
03396 - Supply voltage terminal 30 for central locking
011 - open circuit - intermittent
I was hoping the issue was possibly a fuse or relay but with a lot of trawling on the internet I cannot find out where it would be located.
Fingers crossed someone can help! Thanks in advance!

Hi I’m having the exact same issue my boot will not open. With fob or switch and both washers have stopped working plus back wiper all at the same time have you found a solution yet I’ve read a lot of people on here disconnect the battery for a short while to reset everything so I’m going to try this tomorrow
