Airbag/seat belt warning light
Got in my scirocco this morning started her up and the seatbelt/airbag warning light came on. I haven't used the car for about a week and it wasnt on last time I did. Anyone had issues with the warning light before? I've been reading up and apparently a common issue is the connections under the seats. Any advice would be grateful... thanks in advance

Sounds very much like it is one of the connections under one of the seats, which as you say is common especially if you need to slide the seats back and forward to let people in the back. Even after you identify the cause and fix, you might need to reset the fault by disconnecting the battery or clear the code using VCDS or the like.

Tried all that, my scanner (only a cheap one) doesn't pick up the fault. Just wondered anyone knows what cable it would be under the seats as theres quite a few. Want to do everything I can before taking it to a dealer/garageCuprabob wrote:Sounds very much like it is one of the connections under one of the seats, which as you say is common especially if you need to slide the seats back and forward to let people in the back.
