Can chain tensioner

Advice please? Is there any information on where to find and remove the inspection bung that will allow me to see if the cam chain tensioner has been upgraded? And once the inspection bung is removed how can I tell if the tensioner is the old style or the new style? 09 plate 2.0 GT
