Brake wear sensor 2.0tsi

Post by Kateloub »

Does anyone know where I could purchase a brake sensor for a 63plate 2.0tsi.. I've looked on all the bog standard website for them but everyone seems to have sold or don't currently stock them.

Brake wear sensor is an integral part of one of the front brake pads.

I am aware of this, I've had the brake pads replaced and the wire was damaged so I want to replace it.

You should be able to pick up a repair wire from your local dealer or TPS as I'm pretty sure it's a common occupance when changing pads. If the connector is fine then any similar gauge of wire can be used to repair it.
