Tyre sizes

Post by lewisheywood »

Quite a rookie question I guess

So I have the 19" Luganos, 8J - 235 19 35

I also have a set of 19" Calibre alloys 8J - 225 19 35

I was just wondering if the 225 tyres would be an issue on the Luganos?

I've noticed that 235 tyres are a lot more expensive and less common than than the 225.

Thanks in advance, Lewis

235/35x19 is a very common size these days and I doubt the 225/35x19 is cheaper as it's less common. Personally I would stick with the 235 but yes a 225 will fit on a 8J rim.
