Has anyone changed indicator bulbs to LED?

Talk about general things related to the new VW Scirocco in here.

Has anyone changed indicator bulbs to LED?

Post by Crispy Duck »

Is it worth doing?

I have a 2015 facelift GT with the Xenon and LED headlights – wondering if changing the indicator bulb to LED will make any difference to the look.
Do they flash on and off sharply – rather than the slight fade you get with regular halogen bulbs? Would they be any brighter?

Cheers

Regular indicator bulbs are not halogen, they are tungsten filament.

Yes, the LEDs will switch on and off sharper rather than fade on and off.
