Auto window drop, when unlocking

Post by aesmidz »

when i bought my car 2 years ago, a few people on here were moaning about only unlocking one door with the remote fob, and both door windows dropped,

i took my car into the dealer last week for a brake fluid change and a free check / report

i have now noticed only one windows drops when unlocking the car, but 2 presses of the fob unlocks both doors, and drops both windows

great eh?

they must have done a software update?

You can change this in your instrument cluster.

As above, it's a setting that can be changed in the convenience settings menu, if you have Highline DIS

In my settings, it's only the option of unlocking one door or both doors
My car with Option set to unlock drivers door only, the passenger door remained locked, but the Windows on both doors used to drop
An issue people used to moan about on here in the early days
Anyway now fixed, with I suspect a dealer software upgrade

Perhaps later cars always had this problem sorted
