Where to find Sciroccos for sale

Post by Ajlcomputers »

I'm looking for a 2010 or 2011, 2 litre petrol with DSG in either blue or dark grey and I'd prefer leather seats. I'm having real trouble finding one, I think about 60-70% are diesel and of the ones that are petrol they all seem to be white.

Anyone seen any matching my criteria for sale? I don't mind where it is so if you've seen one please let me know. I've looked on autotrader, eBay, motors.co.uk and various auction sites.

Cheers.

I'm having a similar issue but I want the 170 diesel, I assume not many go for the 170 as on Autotrader theres 400+ 140's to only just below 100 170's (however I'm looking for under 4 years old and under 40k miles).

Seems like all the well spec'd, reasonably priced ones are all white!!

Hi guys,

unfortunately I don't have much advice for you other than to keep watching auto trader like a hawk. I picked my 2010 2.0 TSI in Sumatra (looks dark grey most of the time) with leather from a VW dealership in Harrogate 175 miles away from me. Long way to go but definitely worth it for the perfect car.

Hang in there guys! (unless you don't have a car at all, then i don't know what to suggest >.<)

Out of interest how much are you guys looking to pay for a car of the spec you suggested or is it that there's literally nothing in your desired spec around that age at all?

Buy a boring and dull white one and get it wrapped a nice colour? As everyone hates white cars (because they're boring and dull) you should get it cheaper which would pay for the wrap. Result.

I'm looking for...

2.0 TSI Auto
<40k miles
Rising Blue / Dark Grey
Leather interior
New style steering wheel

Budget roughly £16k

There's only 1 on Autotrader that matches this criteria and that's the one with the fluffy boot that I have a thread about.

Dave, I may have the answer. I have a lovely 170 diesel GT R-Line example - its black and has 36k and still is under warranty/service plan. Unfortunately the website won't let me PM you - but my mobile number is 07891639204.
