Prices for new mo released
It seems the new model has the same list price as the old , at least for the r once you take into account that some items are now standard spec in the uk. New model gets 19" wheels as standard. The configuration gives no choice for 18". Also for some reason you can't spec dynaudio and rns510 currently.

So, does this destroy the used values now of our cars?

Unlikely unless the spec is very low I would expect. The new styling won't appeal to all, and it's not really a car produced in huge volumes, so I'd expect it to continue as is in terms of depreciation . With the golf r available at a lower headline price (not accounting for spec for spec) I can't see the new scirocco r being very common.

That's good to hear - I actually quite like the rear lights - I have Xenon's already so there doesn't seem much change to mine except perhaps the DLR's look better on the new model

Yes - I am not expecting used prices to be affected very much by the facelifted version. The cars still look very similar anyway and is still a bit of a 'niche' model.
You can be sure though with any prospective trade in, the dealer would probably try and use the new model as justification to knock down the PX value!
