Another one going...

Post by MartyRocco »

So, after a great deal of thought, I've decided to change my Scirocco. It's been a truly great car, I've had no complaints but I fancy the change. So with a massive amount of excitement I've ordered a Golf Mk7 GTi.

This forum has been a mine of information, can't quite believe I'm moving on!

One last question, how DO you turn the side lights off? ;)

Good luck with the Golf GTI, a car I was seriously looking at last year, but have decided to stay put!

I'm not sure that MartyGolfo has the same style about it... :)

"MartyGolfo", hadn't though about that, doesn't have the same ring does it?

I'm inordinately excited about going back to a petrol engine. I work from home now, so fuel cost/efficiency isn't really an issue anymore.

Has anyone compared the size of the Pano roof between the Scirocco and Golf? I've ordered it on the new car but I've been reading that it's not very "pano" and some have been disappointed...

Well that's it, the Sciroccos gone. Very sad to see it go, more than I thought I would be actually.

But on the plus side, very very pleased with my GTi, but I'm going to have to change the windscreen wipers, they seem to be worse than the Scirocco OEMs.
