I am repairing an accident damaged 2.0 tdi scirocco with CBD engine, I cannot get it to start, the fuel pump does not work when the ignition is turned on, and I think the fuel pressure regulating valve is not working either.with VCDS I can get the fuel pump to operate correctly, I have no fault codes. There is 12v to the relay but not a good negative, it is a negative switched relay with the negative coming from the ECU. I am thinking it could be an immobilizer fault, but no fault codes showing , or an incorrect input into the ECU , is there any way I can find what signals should be fed into and out of the ECU pins?

Got it sorted . new ECU fitted and programmed by vw at Eastbourne.
