Tyres with rim protection?

Post by Hithere »

I picked up my car from VW used a few weeks ago, and it has cheap Haida tyres on it. These tyres have zero rim protection. They are the standard 18 inch wheels, so what would be a good replacement to think about? I've already kerbed one wheel (useless street parking abilities as i do this so rarely!). Given that i'm going to have to street park this every day soon in small busy roads, i don't think these are sensible tyres to have. I can't afford to refurb the wheels every few months!

Any thoughts on suitable replacements for the Haida's would be appreciated.

(model is the 2.0 GT)

Thanks

Goodyear F1 Assymetric 2.

Excellent performance, reasonable price and good rum protection.

Best prices in my experience are from Camskill but you need.to have your tyres fitted yourself.
