I'm on my third replacement set of these now. They keep cracking and flying off. Is this normal?!
At the moment I'm having to press the key fob until the first opening noise and quickly opening the boot by hand before the second noise, which seems to 'lock' it again.
I don't slam the boot so wondered if this is a common fault or if the parts I'm being supplied aren't up to scratch?

Re: Boot popper openers
What are you cleaning them with as they do not like petroleum based products & several people have had them pop off after using some on them?

Re: Boot popper openers
Dont think they have been a problem with being fragile, may be worth a look at this thread http://www.sciroccocentral.co.uk/forum/ ... mp#p115819" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Could be that the stops are not adjusted properly and causing undue stress on the bump stops?

I've had the same problem. Two sets have gone on mine too. Just make sure you close your boot reallllllly gently haha.
