I need help from someone quick!
My husband has just bought a Karcher high pressure car washer with lots f accesories and I think the rotating brush head feels like a Brillo pad- too rough, and I'm worried its going to scratch it. Also he bought the spray foam attachment.
Personally, I wouldn't use the karcher brushes anywhere on my car! I use my karcher as a high power hose and snow foam only for rinsing, and a nice lambs-wool mit for the actual washing.
Options: 19 inch lugano alloys , Metal pedals, satnav , DAB , leather , parking sensors , Red footwell LEDs , white led interior , hkb door sills , Needle sweep ,Horn beep on open/close , big speedo, drl deactivated, cornering fogs, An ocd for keeping it clean! Totally agree with this statement. I wouldn't touch any part of my car with the brush apart from the wheel arches. Snow foam lance is good but doesn't hold much so you will end up having to keep refilling. If u want to snow foam then buy a bigger lance. I highly recommend autobrite snow foam lance . Has 1 litre container and can adjust dilution and spray pattern.
It's too late, he used it while I was posting. Now I feel like the car is ruined. The car has been given a ceramic coat, would this not protect it from any abrasion.

yeah brush are bad news, lucky you have a white car and not black so hopefully if it has scratched you wont see it...
Definitely clean your own car yourself next time!

Might not of caused major swirls or scratches but depends on if your car was coverd in grit etc. you can still easily see scratches on white cars. especially in sunlight. but just be glad it's not a black car..
Thanks for your replies, my husband has seen sense now and I read all these comments to him and also lots of similar ones on the Internet saying dont use a brush so he won't be using it again, phew!
The ceramic coating might protect the paintwork if it is still relatively new - less than 18 months since applied. You might get some scratches and swirls in the ceramic coating but as this wears off those swirls will hopefully disappear with it.
Got to agree with whitedevil about getting an autobrite snow foam lance, and make sure you are using a neutral foam concentrate. Start with a pre-wash like Valet Pro Citrus Pre-wash, wait 5 minutes then foam, wait another 5-10 minutes then pressure wash off followed by cleaning with a lambswool wash mitt and rinsing off with the pressure washer again. Finally dry with a micro-fibre towel.
I can't think of any good use for the brush so I suggest that it "disappears" before the next wash.
