VW Bluetooth Hands free Kit (rebadged Burry) music issues

Hi All,

this may have been answered before...
but i have got one of these units installed in my car, issue i have is that no music plays through the unit via the bluetooth, I have an ipone 4s, everything else works fine.

is it a firmware update needed or does it not work with iphone without the connecting cable?

I have a bury unit too, I don't think it has the ability to stream music from the iPhone. I always stick the cable into mine

My friend has the bury one and it plays them without the cable so thought you could with the VW one??

Does anyone know what the latest firmware is for it?

The old version called Touch Phone Kit cannot play music full stop even though it has the music option,the latest version called Touch Phone Kit music can play music provided the correct loom has been used at fitment but since using that loom makes your mdi not work as you can only have one or the other i dont think you will have it fitted.
