Light changed but not working!

Post by Gvents »

Iv just installed some HID's APbulbs.com, I had them working last night, came to the car this morning and I had a warning telling me to look at right headlamp, left was working fine but right wasn't! So I thought it might be the ballast so I swap the right and left over but still the left worked and not the right! I then removed the HID kit from the light and replaced it with the standard bulb set up with a new bulb and still nothing, all fuses in box check out! I'm stumped any ideas?

More a last resort thing: Disconnect battery over night. This will give strange errors the first couple of miles, that can be ignored.

Hi Gvent,

I am having the exact same problem!! fitted them yesterday and were working last night on my drive home and I was real happy with them, drove to work this morning and same issue, warning light telling me to look at the right headlamp? tried the same thing on me dinner hour, swapped the ballasts and even the bulbs over same problem?!

I have just ordered a relay harness but not 100% sure that will solve it.

what did you do to resolve issue in the end, like what was the problem?

many thanks

Not sure you will get an answer mate from the OP as the post is getting on for 4 years old. You never know though! :)
