But... I was attempting retrofitting cruise control to a friends 2010 post week 45 Scirocco with the correct stalks and what was believed to be the correct slip ring control module (turns out its from an Audi A1 which didnt seem to accept the MFSW and wouldnt accept coding for the Cruise via the turn signal (only had the seperate lever option in VCDS) Anyway I have since put the standard slip ring controller back on and all the Steering wheel controls work and the buttons for the DSG also register as working. But the car now has an error in the transmission control module which wont clear, and the car has no drive.
This is the error I now have.
Im afraid I have turned a friends car into a very expensive ornament with potentially a very expensive dealer fix
anyone had anything similar. Any help or advice much appreciated.Ricky
