How do you guys detail the Scirocco Engine bay?

Info about the best cleaning products and detailing.

In: Viper Green
With a: Manual box
Options: R-tech Stage 1, Forge Twin take,19'' Talladegas, Rear sensors, Heated leather, RNS510 Satnav + Dynaudio, Tinted glass, LED Interior lighting, Electric folding mirrors, Custom mats, CBI Xenons, Yellowstuff pads

How do you guys detail the Scirocco Engine bay?

Do you use hose/pressure washer?

If so on the Scirocco what are the key parts to cover in plastic to stop ingress?

Want to do a good detail, I have Autoglym engine cleaner and some brushes.

The one time I did it I only sprayed water from a bottle to wash away the cleaning agent.

I just use a spray bottle with some light soap in it. First remove the dirt and debris with some cloth and then go over with a detailing spray on all the black plastic parts and wipe down with a microfiber cloth. If you start with hosing it down you´ll have to cover certain parts and wait until all the water dries out before you can detail it. So in the end I think its faster to just go about it the hard way! :)
