Trip Computer + DSG question

The trip computer on my car resets the mpg readout etc if the car has been off for for more than 2 hours. Is there anyway to stop this so it keeps the reading? If so how do I then reset it manually.

When the car is cold and ive just stopped at a set of traffic lights etc the car sounds like it revs slightly twice. Is this normal for a DSG car, the rev needle doesnt move at all. Goes away when warm.

Have a read of the manual the trip has 2 memories 1 and 2, 1 is as you describe resets every 2 hours and 2 does not and is only reset after 4k miles or when manually reset.

You will see the 1 and 2 in the top right hand corner of the DIS and can be toggled by using the OK button on MFSW
