Wind Noise Front Windscreen

Post by char »

Hi guys,

I had my windscreen replaced a few months back (which may or may not be related) but recently I've noticed a strange noise at the roof line when driving around 65-70mph on the motorway, which I think is wind blowing across the gap between the windscreen glass and the frame.

Does anybody else experience this? I was thinking of some gaffer tape or gap filler  but wondered if anybody had any good ideas on how to fix it :)

Cheers

Sure you've not got an air gap where there might be window adhesive is missing? In one spot or all across?

If the gap is wide enough, you could stick (squash) in a length aquarium air tubing so as the gap is smoothed before you do anything more permanent.
