You could probably get quite far if you took this up to the top, maybe even a small claims court (or wherever false advertising ends up) - but I suppose it boils down to a) can you be arsed and b) are you prepared to keep a paper trail and wait it out and c) what do you actually want to achieve at the end of it all. The complaints process for big firms is usually pretty drawn out, and it might end up costing you more (in terms of time wasted, effort, etc) than just doing it yourself off eBay for £50 or whatever it is...
