lost key and no badges

Hi will be picking up my new candy white 170 GT week , the previous owner was Volkswagen financial services ( VWFS) and there is only one key is it worth writing to them to see if they can find the lost key
If they can`t how much is a replacement?
Also it has been de-badge (strange for VW to do that) how much for new badges the sirocco and the tdi (with the red i) and are they simple to fit

Vw wouldn't have debaged it Alan, the owner would have (alot of us have). Not sure how much they are but they are just stuck on with sticky pads

VW do have an option when ordering for the car to be de-badged (I chose this) so it defianatly could of been done from new. any car can be ordered without badges, you just have to ask. But VW do have it as an option.

Badge deletion can also be a factory option, car looks better without IMHO

Regarding the keys may be worth a look
