Which Milltek tips?

Evening all,

I'm in a bit of a dilemma and I'm seeing some opinions on which tip style of Milltek I should order. I'm finally going to get round to treating myself once my Uni exams are out the way in a week or so. I personally want to keep the style OE, so oval and chrome/silver however this doesn't appear to be an option at present, I'm going to see if it’s possible that Milltek supply the tips prior to painting. The current choices are as follows:

Any opinions are much appreciated.

dont forget they also do the Ovals in silver

Ovals in silver :nod:
Rising Blue,DSG,Vienna Leather,Winter Pack,Pano roof,Folding mirrors,Dynaudio/DAB,Park Sensors,Cruise, Flat tyre indicator,Prem Mats+Sills,Metal Pedals,Gt Badge,Fiscon,Covered cup holder/rear cup holders.Now gone Piano Black with new Climate Control

Are you sure about this? Because when I've ordered mine (and on the Milltek website) there were only 2 options available. Ovals in black and GT100 in silver.

well ive got them on my car so yeah I'm 100 percent sure :nod:

Ended up settling on the GT100 tips after seeing a few more images. The oval tips were an option but would be a custom job with a 6 week lead time and quite a substantial price increase from the quotes I received.

I've already had issues though, the supplied tips were covered in welding slag so Milltek will be sending out a new set in a couple of weeks.

I know, not what you'd expect for a >1K system. Ah well at least it's highlighted one of the reasons I went with Milltek, the after sales support.
