Just got news my car has arrived (quicker than I thought as ordered Oct 11)) and looking forward to January delivery, cant wait really. :clap:

Maybe should have asked this before ( though I am happy with my deal ) but what level of discount is out there generally on a new 1.4 DGS?

My local dealer in Glasgow, Arnold Clark, just laughed at the word saying long delivery dates and short supply meant no discount to speak of.

As I had bought my current Eos from Listers down South, and got a good deal on that, I went to them again. Well worth the travel costs involved as saved about 11% or £2700.

Not got my car yet, but I got 1k off the car plus 1k towards the finance. Free metallic and parking sensors. Also got an ok deal on my part ex. Sounds like you got a better deal

Trickytree1984, You're deal sounds not too bad, thats 2 grand saving plus met paint and parking sensors FOC. Just make sure you dont pay over the odds on your finance deal, check out the APR and make sure its not inflated.

4.9 apr so not too bad. It's the payment level I wanted so its all good.. I will likely give it back after 3 years so no need to worry about the final payment.

I managed to get 12% by trading one dealer off with another. In addition was the 1K deposit contribution from VW Finance. After I placed the order the finance rate dropped from 7.9 to 4.9%. I managed to get the dealer to drop the rate to the lower one saving a good amount each month. Overall very pleased with the deal. Only 7 weeks from order to delivery, much sooner than I expected.
