Trouble putting the power down

Post by panhandle »

Hey guys,

Just seeing in anyone else experiencing similar problems on here - basically whenever im giving the car the full beans (between 0-50) I always get the traction light come on and a kind of stuttering. The car is well warmed up, roads dry, fairly newish tryes and from memory it wasnt doing this a couple of months ago.

Your thoughts....

would cooler weather affect the traction capacity of your tyres?

Yes, it is purely traction, Autumnal weather means more moisture in the air and road, hence traction will be reduced. Easy answer, just lift off the loud pedal. :-)

i think stuttering is normal when traction control kicks in,ECU takes over throttle and reduces rpms..
