Scirocco full respray

Hello!
I buy and sell cars and have bought and sold different Scirocco's in the past year. But I've come across a 2009 Scirocco with 30k mileage, it has small dents and lots of scratches and its been sprayed black but is registered as white (white in logbook), even the alloys have been sprayed black! It has a good resale value but I'm just not sure how much a quality respray will cost. I will be getting it at just under £8000. Has anyone done a full respray? If so please let me know the price. Im thinking I'll be better off getting it wrapped white.

£2000 - £3000 depending on quality of the job i guess

Id ask more why its been sprayed in the first place. I certainly wouldnt buy as new a car that has been sprayed a colour that you can get it in to start with.

I'm thinking it sounds dodgy :no:
Shouldn't the reg docs be updated if the colour has been changed ?
Why respray a white car black. Could have been keyed all over or attacked with paint stripper. Or it could be 2 cars welded together - one black, one white. Or it might be a ringer.
Find out more or stand well clear.

Yes - avoid that one like the plague, you don't buy a Scirocco for £8k.
