Best feeling ever.

Post by cornelce »

Went to Halfords this morning and got out the car to wait outside the store. 2 minutes later there were about 4 people looking at the car and through the window. Got home and parked on the driveway (as per usual) and when I look outside the window there are two men on the road looking at the car from different angles haha. Also this is pretty standard but when in town people are always turning heads, or when stopping at the lights. Literally can't describe the feeling.

Well chuffed.

Yup, always happens. People taking pics, talking to me, stopping next to me staring, turning round to follow me. Annoying actually now, but was nice to put a smile on my face early on.

My Rising Blue was one of the first in the country in 2008. Everywhere i went people were staring; in garages and supermarket car parks people were asking to look all over it - sit in it and all that stuff. less now - nut still noticeable - we call it 'Roccy love'! I think it is one of those cars which looks so much better in the metal than in photographs.

Same here
The first time we took the car for a proper drive over west Wales I parked it in the car park in the centre of Laugharne and went for a walk. On our return there was a crowd of people gathered around my new pride and joy. My first thought was someone had crashed into it .Panic ! As we got closer we could see they were all admiring and discussing the Roc.
It took us 20 mins to get away! Definitely a great feeling
Obviously 2 years later this kind of attention has calmed down but I still get peoples admiring glances. I get kids passing by my work place on their way home and often hear them discussing my car positively.
Enjoy

I used to get more comments about my Alpine White Mk2 Golf Gti which was one of the last ones produced and very tidy indeed.

I've noticed the Scirocco turning heads but no one has actually asked about it. :(

My Roc is jus over month old, i've done nearly 3000 miles and i can safely say I will not be getting bored any time soon! I get looks every day in my blue beast, not only because it looks like a work of art, but because of the incredible engine and exhaust notes when changing through the gears ;@)

This car also shocked me the other day when it did 168mph with 4 poeple in the car, I know she could have done more. Permanent face-ache with this car, if you're thinking of buying, stop thinking and buy, you will not be disappointed.
