Thanks all, I looked long and hard for one of the last made rocco's to ensure it was in clean condition etc..
I know exaclty the cars you're talking about the oak green is very rare saw one on ebay the other day already had bids up to £1500 and it still had 5 days to go!
I like the Rivage alloys, gives it a more original look and they shine up well..
The Mk1 and Mk2 owners are mixed about the Mk3, just as I am, some love it, in fact one or two have ordered or are close to, some loathe it as is to be expected.
To be fair I think its such a radically different car its hard to compare the two..
I took my Mk2 to my local showroom over the weekend and the sales guys were complimenting it (suck ups!) while I went and had my first in person taste of the Mk3. I have to say I do like it, the lines on the top are very nice and the curvature isnt as bad as I'd thought it would be. The interior is fantastic and really impressed me and my dad (a merc man through and through I was there trying to convince him to buy the new passat cc - which is also a beautiful car).
All in all it is a really nice car and perhaps one for me for the future, but Im going to hold on to as many Mk2's as I can till theyre all gone
