Happy days... I'm sure you won't regret your decision.

My RB R DSG is fantastic....you need to shift down manually if you need instant urgency otherwise the DSG will make you wait, a wait that is long enough to frustrate you!

I pay about too much for my R and I have to admit I feel a little guilty spending so much on a car. When I factor the petrol and insurance I wonder if I'm losing my marbles, but its a little late now. I will either downgrade to a golf 2.0 TDI in a few years or upgrade to a 911 or M3....depends what petrol/diesel costs in 2013!

God knows what your paying for your R, but if its only £50 pm more than a 2.0 TDI I would review the finance details very, very carefully! If they are correct... happy days....enjoy!

Good luck & be sure to floor it..... it needs to be driven fast, that way you will enjoy it!

Keep er lit.

Happy days,

It does drink fuel and its not because you drove it hard! I've had the car for 24 days and i've spend £230 on fuel. If i'd have know that I think I would have went for a GTI. A well, its worth it as I drive up and down the roads each day and never see a car that I'd prefer to be driving.

O i did see one car....an S5 cab S tronic, blue metallic.....mmmmmmm

Keep it real!

Not that I own an R, but I would reckon on 300 to a tank once run in. Depending of course on how you drive it.

more Like 250, 300 would be possible on long motorway runs. The Rocco R isnt much better than my R32 was tbh.

I managed 300 on the last tank costing £70. Did include a trip to AMD averaging 33mpg tho!
