Scirocco unlocked. Press the rear right wing flap on its rear side at 09:00 and it should spring up.

I've had a couple of rare occasions when it hasn't opened. A lock and unlock of the car seems to free it up.

I had fun with this when picking up my 'Roc last Friday. I was looking everywhere for a filler cap button around the door, as it is with the MkV Golf I drove the week before. Eventually I just prodded the cap until it opened. This has reminded me to tell the wife!
It doesn't help that the dealer didn't supply the owners manual - they are now sending me one through the post.

My old golf had a fuel cap switch, in exactly the same place as the roc boot opener, which made it pop open.

This has become extremely annoying as force of habit means everytime i fill up i open the boot! i look like a right tit everytime lol!

lol - best to look cool and rumage around the boot, pretend to pocket something so it looks like you meant to do it ;) I did mention the fuel cap thing to my wife but she seemed alarmed by the idea of her ever filling it up! :eyepop:
I'm on my second tank now from this morning. I only got 30mpg from the first tank (I have a 1.4 160 DSG) which is a bit pants. However, I guess the amazingly cold weather has hit the economy somewhat plus the two hours crawl into work the other day. I must say the DSG was brilliant for that though :-)
