Just concerned about 'metal bits' from my new engine sloshing around everywhere.

Will the oil filter get them all? This is what VW told me and not to worry about it.

Should I even worry? I have the car on finance and will likely be selling it after three years or staying with VW finance (I know I know) and getting a more powerful beast in the future!

Thoughts?

You can go 2 years without a visit to the garage. I didn't go until my first 12 months was up. Aside from shoving a little oil in about 6-8 months after buying I wasn't concerned about going for a filter change tbh. The manual doesn't say you need to.
