Taking delivery after New Year. Vat changes due??

Am I likely to have to pay extra if my car does not arrive before new year?

The vat rise is due and I'll be fucked if I'm paying extra because VW can't build cars quick enough.

VW UK are doing a pay 17.5% vat deal for all cars ordered before 30th nov but delivered after 1st Jan... Check with your dealer if your order is covered then ask for confirmation in writing.

The same happened last year, and VW UK paid the VAT increase for car registered up until 28th February. There doesnt seem to be any mention of the same deal on their website yet though.
I can rely on my car, it's my Roc!!!

I ordered my second Scirocco last week and I can confirm that there is a VAT freeze on all cars ordered before the end of November.

Undertsand your concerns The Don, but is there really any need to use such language here?
