Scirocco Warranty

Post by lokyt »

Hi all,

I am new to this. I recently bought a Scirocco 2.0 GT. It has still got about 2 years left of the warranty. Driving home tonight, the passenger dipped bulb stopped working and a the warning light appeared on the dash. It might sound silly but does the warranty cover the replacement of bulbs or do I need to fork out money and replace myself.

Thanks

Not sure on the bulb but i thought i would share my experience of warranty work done.

My AM Radio Band didnt work, they fixed that.
Also my centre wheel caps had seen better days they had gone a bit white in places - i asked them if they could be replaced! And they were under warranty! (Didnt think they would!)

Bulbs won't be covered by warranty I'm afraid.

Thanks for the replies guys. I just rang up the service centre and spoke with the bloke there. Bulbs are not covered under the warranty, you get charged for them but they will fit them for free. Just need to arrange a time to get this done.
