The order process and how to track?

Right Im new to this, and I see a lot of folk taking about their build date, complete and ready to ship status etc.


Can someone either link me to a post showing the process of how to track my cars build and delievery process, or give me a step by step??

Here you go...... Link. Form a relationship with you dealer saleperson to give you regular updates. The key points here at this stage are order placed in the VW system (not your sales invoice), Commision Number advised and a provisional week build complete provided. Nothing much will then happen so every two weeks an update will suffice. They should advise you of delays/changes if they arise but its not always the case.

Then when the build complete week number goes firm about 2 - 3 weeks before production of your Scirocco starts, tie in with the shipping here. A ship with matching week number will be posted as it becomes available. Again dealer should advise you of the Scirocco being....., build completed, quayside waiting a ship in Portugal and finally sailing. Hopefully the dealer will be able to confirm the ship's name as more than one leaves Portugal carrying the same build week numbers.
