Ideas for a faq?

Post by Kev »

I was wondering about putting a FAQ topic together.

Things I've thought of so far

Does the DSG have launch control (yes and how to do it)
The part number for the metal pedals
Which badges are removed in the badge deletion option.
What does the merlin cloth look like
How does the flat tyre indicator work

Any suggestions for others?

Done everything except these. I don't know much about finance, PDC, and bluetooth. I don't think we know much yet abut the 1.4 specs.

Does anyone know what all the steering wheel buttons do?
On my test I only played with the arrows on the far right to cycle through the info screen.

The Star button on the Top left is a mute button. The other 2 on the right Top for menu but to confirm setting.

Hope that is ok.

Are all the others on the left 'dud' then?

So
Left Side
Top left - star - mute

Right Side
Top left - menu (which menu where?)
Bottom left - OK - confirm
Top right - up - info screen cycle
Bottom right - down - info screen cycle

If you have the DIS showing Audio then you can scroll through the tracks.

If you don't change DIS to audio then you use them to scroll through the computer i.e MPG, Fuel Range, Ave Speed etc.

What about having a Good / Bad Dealers section. Just to give opinions on how the dealer treats us from sales through service and aftersales.

Just a thought.

I wonder if there's any legalese involved in something like that.

I think you would just have to put up a disclaimer and possibly some rules regarding the posts. I will have a look and see what I can come up with and pm you.
