It'll just need the coding of the module updated.

I'll have a look when i get back from offshore at the weekend and confirm.

it's a really cool and simple idea so I hope it's standard and just a simple software update :jump:

Quick bit of research shows up that it might be turned on if you had rear parking sensors. . . .

Either way its just a software controlled operation, i'll post the coding when i get it figured out.

I have rear parking sensors but no winter pack and can't find the option in the MFD.....

What crazy combo of options do we reckon you need to get this rather simple feature to start working.....

Very annoying, could have saved the minor scuff to my rear wheel if i had could have turned this on!

I have this option on my rocco, folding mirrors and reverse sensors. However when selecting reverse my mirror moves out and then up. I'm assuming this should be the opposite, in and down so maybe something has been installed up side down, how annoying!

chr15 if your have this feature there is a set up procedure which as part of it involves adjusting the mirror to the position you want it to drop down to, its probably not adjusted

How would I adjust it then? When its in reverse? But then would it go back to how its adjusted normally?

Sorted it :) When its in reverse and the mirror adjusts you have to adjust it manually to where you want it. Then when you drive off in 1st it goes back to where you have it set normally.

So do we have a definitive answer for how this works?
If so I can add it to the wiki.

Maybe you need folding mirrors? My car has folding mirrors and the parking sensors, plus other things but I doubt that would affect this.

When i select reverse my mirror automatically tilts down, then when i come out of reverse the mirror reverts back to it's original position. As long as i have the mirror adjust switch positioned in the L position.
