Wind noise
Ok, got my car today and it's every bit as good as I hoped. Only issue is that the window in the passenger seat has a lot of wind noise. Is this normal?
Re: Wind noise
Not in my experience.

Re: Wind noise
Hi i did ask this question in an ealier post asking if anyone had experienced wind noise.
The reason why i asked this is because i have a golf gttdi and the door welts had to be replaced and the doors had to be re aligned.
Not only that i have never owned a car without the door frame being a complete system ie without a complete surround around the glass or is it called b pillar.
However the solution was fixed by the dealer.

Re: Wind noise
Sounds like the rubber seals need replacing then.
Re: Wind noise
Assuming you have checked the window is properly closing when they drop when you unlock the car
Only wind noise I've noticed is occasionally from the wing mirrors

Re: Wind noise
Another wondering about this but I thought it might just be because I fairly regularly hit naughty speeds.
80-90 mph plus there is definite noise and I'm glad of the auto volume increase.
Once you're 100 mph plus there is a definite whistle on the drivers side door. I sot of put this down to not what you should be doing on a public. I hit 120 on the way home tonight and without the automatic volume increase on the console it was fairly loud.
I don't have the noise on the passengers side.
Is there a case to go back to the dealers? Mine is a 05 2010 (And a dirty beast).

I know someone who took their car up to 135mph and not a hint of wind noise....
