Anybody know about private plates and if i buy one now off the dvla do i have to pay the transfer fee again after purchasing one now.
Also can i specify in a new reg what letters or sequence i would like...Or am i asking to much?
Cheers.

Simon,
As far as I know, when you get a DVLA Select plate, it includes the "transfer fee" to put in on the car. However, you don't get let off the "first registration" fee charged when you acquire your new Scirocco.

I got a new select reg for my new Scirocco and yes what deagol says is correct - the only extra cost is to keep it on retention if you don't put it in a car within 12 months of purchase.
